Background experience:
I have been working as a make up artist for the last few years. Initially i started off working for Mary Kay as a beauty consultant whilst i was at university. I learnt alot about skincare and applying make up and attended several workshops during this time. I also worked as a make up artist at the 'Yours' magazine fashion show and for the Bournemouth Carnival Queen and completed countless make overs for clients. Alongside working for Mary Kay i was also doing modelling and promotional work which meant i had to do my own make up well and i used the skills i had learnt whilst with Mary Kay to achieve that. I then completed a college course in Make Up Techniques which furthered my knowledge even more and i began getting work with photographers. Sometimes i am booked by the aspring model who wants to have some great pictures of herself and other times i am booked by the photographer to make his model look stunning. At the same time i also do alot of bridal make up which i love as it makes the bride feel so special on their big day.
Since working as a make up artist i have worked alongside many professional photographers and my work has ended up on Rex, the UK's biggest stock library of images and has been seen in various magazines. Of course my work has also ended up on many brides mantlepieces too, in memories that they will keep forever! Some shots from the shoots are on this site and i try to add to it regularly. Thanks for visiting my site and i hope to meet you soon!
